Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Cliveo service (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Mustafa Esti, an individual based in North Macedonia. By creating an account you accept these terms.

1. The Service

Cliveo produces short social media videos from the company and product details you enter, optionally with the help of AI. Videos are produced in exchange for credits. Writing and editing scripts and talking to the Director don't use credits; AI features have a daily allowance that depends on your plan.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your password confidential.
  • You may not transfer your account to anyone else, create accounts to collect welcome credits repeatedly, or abuse the Service with automated tools.

3. Payments and reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles customer service inquiries and returns. Prices, taxes and invoices are shown and issued by Paddle. In the iOS app, purchases are made through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms; Apple handles billing and refunds for them.

  • Credit packs are one-time purchases; credits never expire while your account is open. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
  • Monthly plans renew every month until canceled, and each successful payment adds the plan's credits. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • If a video can't be produced, the credits spent are refunded automatically.
  • If you close your account, unused credits are lost. Request any refund you are entitled to before closing it.

4. Content and responsibility

  • You confirm that you hold the necessary rights and permissions for the text, logos, fonts, screenshots, photos, customer reviews and music you upload, and for the websites you ask us to read (including a license for music and fonts).
  • You own the right to use the videos produced. You are responsible for checking that the content is accurate before publishing it.
  • Stock photos and videos come from Pixabay under the Pixabay Content License; you must follow its terms when you use them.
  • Videos may contain AI-generated text and voice, and each video file carries a machine-readable note saying so. When you publish, follow the laws and platform rules on labeling AI-generated content that apply to you.
  • Producing misleading, unlawful or hateful content, content that impersonates others, or content that infringes the rights of others is prohibited and may lead to suspension of your account.
  • Sexually explicit, pornographic, adult or NSFW content, nudity, and content that sexualizes anyone are strictly prohibited. You may not use the Service to make such videos, or to promote adult services, escort services, gambling, weapons, drugs or other illegal goods and services. We may remove content and suspend or close the account without notice.
  • You may not use the Service to create deepfakes, to swap or fabricate a real person's face, or to imitate a real person's voice or likeness without their explicit consent.
  • AI-written copy may contain mistakes; the Service lets you edit everything before publishing.

5. Availability and liability

We provide the Service with reasonable care but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights under mandatory consumer law.

6. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; we will announce important changes by email or within the Service before they take effect.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring claims before its courts.
